We're on a mission to get regular travelers onto flights that seem too cheap to be real, before those fares disappear.
Why we exist
A few times a day, somewhere in the world, an airline publishes a fare it did not mean to: a missing surcharge, a currency slip, a sale priced absurdly low. For a few hours, a business-class seat to Tokyo costs less than a domestic hop, or Europe is suddenly $300 roundtrip. Then it's gone.
Almost nobody catches these in time. You would have to watch hundreds of routes constantly and know what "normal" looks like for each one. That is exactly the boring, around-the-clock job we built software to do, so that catching a once-in-a-year fare comes down to opening an email instead of getting lucky.
From the founder
Hi, I'm Kerri. I love to travel and I love finding flight deals, especially to geographies with amazing hiking. I've been subscribed to the others in this field, but my brain thinks about flight data differently than what was presented, so I built an app that's closer to how I think. That's all.

What makes us different
- We specialize in mistake fares. We are not a generic "cheap flights" list. We watch for prices that fall far below a route's own baseline, the deals worth rearranging a calendar for.
- A human checks every deal. Before an alert goes out, a person confirms it is real and bookable. You get genuine deals, not a firehose of noise.
- It's personal. Alerts are tuned to your home airports and the filters you set, from price caps to cabin class to exact travel dates.
- Premium cabins included. Business and first-class error fares are some of the best value in travel, and they are part of Pro, not a separate high-priced tier.
How we make money
We keep it simple and honest. The free plan is genuinely useful, and Pro is a small subscription, right now our only source of revenue. It covers what running You Must Be Mistaken actually costs: hosting and the AI checks that help verify each deal. That never influences which deals we surface. Only real ones make the cut.
